You are out of touch with reality. This has nothing to do with Fox News. CNN and the Democrats also mostly only show BLM instead of these other groups and movements. That is the issue that many are talking about. The media in general giving too much attention to blacks killed by police and it makes people outraged and makes them think that police are really killing blacks out of proportion.

The Democrats and CNN-like sources that are spreading this false idea. Police are killing poor, uneducated, and people that get arrested a lot whether they are black or white. Again, there is nothing that shows race has anything to do with this.

All lives matter.

The idea that cops simply kill out of conscious racism doesnâ€™t really stand up in most departments â€“itâ€™s a much more complex problem. But in black communities, communal memory of openly racist cops in the not-so-distant past is still a raw wound.

The idea of cops as racist or corrupt â€“held by many whites as well as blacksâ€“is not going to change easily.

It is very easy to affirm a position, especially when it fits in with your identity.

There are cases where cops are racist and they need to be rooted out. Cops are people. Some good and some not good. Some departments need to change.

The idea that this is an epidemic and the biggest problem in society today doesn't jive with reality when you look at the numbers. It is a problem that needs work.

It would be great if a group did get the press and support that BLM gets that did focus on black on black crime and unwed mothers having kids. That group would have a bigger positive impact and save more lives.

I doubt it though. One of the demand lists I saw at Charlotte was that all people arrested in the demonstrations should be released - that would include a demonstrator who was a suspect in killing another demonstrator. It is disappointing that the murder didn't get much play from the protesters once it was determined that a police officer didn't commit it.

The MTV video has some holes in it. The first point especially. The clearance rate for homicide in big cities is not that great. Many times eyewitnesses are afraid to come forward.

My biggest problem with BLM is their tactics. And how many do not look at facts of cases like the Michael Brown case.

I think they cops should be held accountable when they do wrong. I understand the legacy of racism in police departments creates a major credibility problem for the police and black communities.

It is so easy to jump on the bandwagon and say cops are racist and make yourself feel moral. However, each case should be judged on the facts.

All these people saying "cops should be held accountable" clearly haven't been paying much attention. Go read the story about the Grand Jury hearing about the Tamir Rice killing and how the prosecutor presented it...

Of course people are protesting because the so called system that is supposed to hold them accountable is broken.
