My guess is there are a lot of nails sticking out on the AT, not just this one.

An astute person mentioned to me that she should have lost weight and tons of weight, not just 10 lbs during some stretch, as she had mentioned somewhere in a written piece.
The observation was made when comparing her efforts to Survivor (The TV show) or the biggest loser (another TV Show). They all lose weight tremendously.
In Survivor, every contestant gives big efforts and eats little, hence they lose tons of weight. On the AT she would do the same even if she ate tons of food.
Ninja doesn't recount to us that she gorged on food, that she took in thousands of calories, that she had gluttonous meals, or that she downed liquid calories like protein shakes.
She actually recounts occasionally that she gave food away from her "mail drops".
Maybe Meatballs gave her a lift to the record:

Jenny Meatballs Yes because most of the so called "evidence" we're seeing is completely inaccurate due to various complex time lapse and technological barriers to using social media as the only form of verification and not the actual geolocation data we are working on compiling via server operated email threads, iPhone stored data, and statements of witnesses. The evidence is completely one sided because our package has not even been compiled let alone released yet. She Kaiha and I have barely had time to catch up on sleep let alone respond to the BLOODHOUNDS.

Jenny Meatballs sounds like as much of a nutcase as Kaiha is. Hotter though.
What a couple of moonbats. Funny thing is, they actually believe people are interested in these videos, which are about as profound as my middle nut.

This Jenny Meatballs sound like she is to Kaiha what Dustin was to Rob Young (if you're been following the RY scam on here) ie her partner in crime.
Probably benefiting financially in some way from attempting to fool us that Kaiha is legit.
Someone helped her make those nice video trailers, so she appears to have people trying to help her pull off this scam. They are badly failing!

"The whole thing about it folks, is that neither Kaiha nor I are legends nor claim to be. We're just two girls who were connected by the universe and with the support of our friends decided to go for it. Although what you are seeing may appear impossible to the naked eye, not one of you can see the countless hours that we both went through relying mostly on each other in an emotional feedback loop to fuel each other's HEARTS. This mission was driven by our HEARTS and by a pure desire to get uncomfortable and talk about RAPE. This mission was made possible by the bonds of sisterhood, friendship, positive manifestations, community, love, and brute strength of not settling for a culture of silence about rape anymore. If you want to talk let's talk. Let's talk about the real issue here. The fact that both Kaiha and I can survive ANYTHING even your scrutiny, your disbelief, your character assassinations, your willingness to tear us down because it makes you feel better for having a lack of faith in your own selves. We had faith. We have faith, and we have faith in you for checking your own selves and to stop thinking so much and start FEELING. Our sheer emotional fortitude is what made this happen. @Kaihabertollini is Kaiha, not Karl or Scott or Anish. Kaiha is is Kaiha. And Kaiha is beautiful no matter what. This miracle happened whether you believe it or not doesn't make it any less true. So be loving, or hop off. There is no space for hate of any kind here."

So Kaiha who has a criminal record wants to talk about the crime she suffered, but not the crime she committed. Interesting how that "silence" thing works.
Just wanted to chime in that I farted. Not sure if that makes a difference or not but makes me feel better.
Out.

^^Absolutely.
Notice they are now appealing to "faith...faith...faith...faith...miracles"
Faith= acceptance despite lack of evidence.

Is the internet and the virtual soapbox of social media, plus the recent hobby jogging/cross fit/ultra running trend responsible for this craziness?
Or has it always been this way just without the publicity/added scrutiny of the web?

You reckon her and meatballs are going to try and fake some proof? Dont see how they can as she's already said she had no GPS or tracker

Wow, Online managed to butcher an ultra running legend's name throughout that article. Ergo, it's Peter Bakwin (not Bawkin). Met him this summer, we tag team crewed/paced a guy at Hardrock.
Geez, stellar journalism by that Outside reporter. She writes about the ride she got off the AT in Virginia, saying she'd have to return to the same spot, but no mention that there is hard evidence that she returned to the AT 45 miles south. The problem is not that she's an outsider, or that she doesn't look like she did 2200 miles, or that she didn't official declare her intention. It's that she flat out did not cover all of the miles. There is hard proof, and that calls in question all of those other truly unbelievable mileage days.
Why do "journalists" enable liars like this?

Great article! You're both a gentleman and a scholar.
