Good guess. Two and half minutes faster than Laurie Binder's listed mark.

Nice win by Shay, but without knowing the conditions, he was capable of winning against these type of times the last couple of years too.
I raced it this morning. We started with weather in the low 50s, which moved up ~10 degrees over the next hour. It was, all in all, a beautiful day, save the 22mph headwind that would not go away no matter which direction we were running.
i think we are overlooking a nice race from Carney; after a couple years of toiling, seems like he is ready to make a move.
good luck
sort of surprised to see fam in the top 5 in this long of a race and since i have not seen any results lately with him running. is he going to be trying the 10k outdoors? heard that he had a strong kick at the end. would be curious to see how he would finish if he actually trained for longer distances. i don't think i have ever seen his name on anything longer than the ny 8k.
nice job to shay.
Nice job James(Stick)Carney, Not bad for a guy who didn't break 9:45 for two miles in high school
What has happened to Dan Browne? He had this one listed on his racing schedule a while ago, but now I see his schedule is totally blank. Injured?
By now, anyone who follows letsrun.com should know that "ttc" has a hard time saying anything positive to say about Tim Broe. Quite franklly, this diatribe is getting rather boring.
Even though I am currently confined to a voluntary mental rehabilitation center, I believe that most of my fellow patients has a more positive outlook on life and Tim Broe that "ttc". All of here are trying very hard to get our lives back together. I would suggest that "ttc" on getting his/her life back together before it's too late.
I heard Tim Broe actually won the 15k as a bandit. He was just using it as an easy training run. Shay almost punched him after the race because of the comment.
So I see by "ttc's" post that he/she got up early on Saturday morning on the West Coast (3/12/2005 6:01AM) to check out the results from Jacksonville, FL. Most likely "ttc" was hoping to see who might have failed rather that who might have succeded.
Unfortunately, I did not get permission to use the internet until a few minutes ago. I talked to my doctor at the clinic and he said to not let people like "ttc" irritate me. My doctor said that people like "ttc" are probably more deranged than I am.
I was there. Broe looked fantastic. Ran in trainers until 8 miles when he took off his shoes and ran in barefoot.
Did Tim Broe have three stripes tatooed on his feet?
ttc, get over high school already. you've got a great future in the 'thon, so stop losing sleep over old ass beatings and start planning on dishing it out on the roads instead of the message boards. you're only making yourself look weak. let your racing do your talking.
I agree with you that "ttc" needs to move on with his/her life. "ttc" seems to spend as much time bashing people as I spend bashing my head against the padded walls in my little room at the asylum. Who is more wacko?
Got to give props to the Hansons team. Sell is really slowly making a nice progression in the running scene. For such a young guy, one should expect great things out of him in the future. Good Job
good job Carney, hanging with the big dogs, not bad for a guy that went to DII Millersville....
nice to see lane get something other than 4th
maybe moving up is a good thing
Gosh!!! I wish I could run like these guys in the 15km!!
Carney is getting it done. He is really a great guy and Millersville is proud, but look down the results and you will see Mark Stallings in the top 20 also. What are the chances of 2 men from Millersville University, a small college in PA, turning out potentially 2 of the better Marathoner's in 2008?
I don't think either is being sponsored by a shoe company and stallings is doing it by himself. Somebody should pick him up! GO VILLE
Didn't Carney graduate from Penn State?
Carney ran 3 of 4 years at Millersville and his last year at Penn St. His best college times were at the Ville, but he did win the 5000 I think at big tens or ic4a.
