I can do this, im 5'11 and 143 lbs, i've always had very small wrists and ankles, not sure why. hands are actually on the smaller side.

yeah but do you have cankles? and are you a fresh/soph in high school? things could change in a few years and you will be struggling to break 20 min, anyone remember megan and katelyn kaltenboch or whatever their name was...low 17s in hs in colorado...but ran those times fresh/soph and continued to get slower
where are they now?
Not even close. Although I don't have big hands for my size.
Anyone who can't do this is slow MENTALLY. You have two hands. If you want to touch your thumb to your middle finger when you wrap your hand around your ankle, you can simply wrap one hand around your ankle while touching the thumb and middle finger of your other hand together. This should be easy for anyone who has two hands and does not have some kind of severe joint problem.
Around my ankle there is a 3 inch gap from thumb to middle finger but on my wrist there is a .5 inch overlap from thumb to middle finger. I have skinny limbs but the tendons on the front and back of my ankles protrude quite a bit.
Not even close. I come almost 2" short. I just measured the circumference of my ankles - 23cm, or just over 9 inches. I'm curious what other LRers measurements are.
For what it's worth, my 5k PR is 15:07. And no, I do not have a smoking hot wife. I am actually unmarried and unemployed (well, I'm a student).
About 1" short. I'm 6'2" at 150lbs, so pretty skinny. I would say my hands are average sized for my height. I usually wear a large glove, sometimes an XL is necessary.
just a pinch over 8 inches, and my 5k PR was 16:30 en route of a 10 mile time trial....but i was a sprinter trying to be converted to mid distance, problem was i never developed great endurance

low 15 huh? and you make $250k a year and have a smoking hot wife and you totally dominate your local turkey trot right?
lets say your correct at low 15, my guess is you are 100% slow twitch, sickly looking non cankels but small hands, prob look a bit strange with narrow thin shoulders and a oddly shaped head. and you cant break 26 in an all out 200m with a running start. you will never be ripped or defined and you will be a virgin in your moms basement till your death
0/10 but nice try, I'd say keep trying but there is little hope.
1. You obviously didn't get the memo but sub 15 is the measure of decency here (see Statman Crothers PR pages, ca. 2004-07). 14:58 is considered pretty good, 15:00 and slower not so much. I guess 15 and 16 min 5K runners do get a modicum of respect, but only as much as a period at the end of a sentence.
2. Considerably less income than that. But I do have a Ph.D. In science. And went to good schools for two out of my three degrees. So that's something (although with the site owners as examples from top schools you have to wonder about the state and quality of our higher education system). My wife is pretty attractive and a runner. Not going to win a modeling contest but I'm a lucky guy.
3. Not recently but I've done 20+ pull ups so decent strength to weight ratio. Not a great bencher though, maybe 150. Better biceps and triceps than pecs. Not as thin as I once was but still within 10 lb of peaking race weight.
4. As for mom's basement, nope. Have lived independently since graduating from said overpriced undergrad institution. Funded with fellowships and assistantships in grad school and gainfully employed since then.
5. My worst flaw is posting on letsrun.
I doubt Makh Daddy could do it and he's among the fastest in the world.

I can't do it and I've run 49.9, 1:49, 3:42, 14:20.
Yeah right no girls post on letsrun.
At times in my life I have been able to do the same thing on my upper arm just above the elbow joint, easily, Right now there is about 3/8 inch to go. I am not even that skinny, so I think a lot of runners could do that, the fast ones anyway.
Yes barely
