In the 2:17's
PRs and years in which I ran them:
800: 1:55 (TT with some teammates after the season, 2012)
1500: 3:49 (2012)
5000: 14:05 (2015)
10000: 30:16 (2015)
13.1: 1:04:27 (2016)
Context/notes: I graduated college in 2012. I ran 3:49/14:09 in 2012 off of the college schedule and 100 mpw. While working in the real world I ran 3:50/14:05/30:16 off of 80 mpw but much more focused towards the 15/5k. I ran 1:05:40 fall 2013 while just bumming around, running 110 mpw. Shooting for the OTQ in 2015 I ran 1:05:59 at RNR Philly (oct 31) then ran 1:04:27 at Jacksonville (1/4/16). I didn't run any underdistance races before that 1:04 so I don't know what kind of shape I was in on that day for other distances.
I ran 1:04:48 at age 27. In my college PRs were 30:33, 14:37 and 8:28. I have never broken 2:00 for the 800 (2:02 in HS).
After graduating college, I ran 1:07:52 for my first half at age 23. Four years of consistent training later, I ran 1:04:48. I never ran faster at the 5k/10k during that time, but I never made a serious crack at a track season either. I was consistently running 31 flat for 10k in the roads in the middle of training blocks during that time. And I did PR for 10k en route in my half PR.
So yes, I'd say it's possible for you to get down to 1:04:xx. Just keep putting in consistent training over the years.
You guys were partying too hard with the Palo Alto boys at the track house to really make the sacrifices needed to kill it in the marathon.

A guy I ran with ran a half without really training too specifically for it. I think he put up a mid 64 performance and won by something like 10 minutes and set the course record by 5ish minutes. He had 1:56/3:47/13:50 PRs. He never really ran a 10k outside of conference.
While I respect your PR's--Mine happen to be 1:09:23 and 2:23:36 Run in NY (exactly as yours) plus a 30:45 10/24:43 5-Mile [not 8K] in X-C, which is worth well under 30:00 on Track). But I only ran 30:49, 2:00 and 4:20 on the track.
You definitely have admirable talent but, I see NO WAY you could run a 1:02/1:03, or a 2:12-2:14 off PR's 3:45/8:16/14:17/29:05. The other thing about a marathon is you enter a crap shoot and unless you are a 2:08 or better guy, something goes wrong more often than not! I can see you lowering your marathon to 2:20 and your half to 1:06 High. I wanted to improve my 1:09 half (I went out in 1:08 in NY one year) and my Road 5 Mile (24:56) but we all have career regrets......................

At the time I ran my half PR, I was not in PR short distance shape, was doing very little repeats under 2 miles and mostly just long tempos. If I had to make wild guesses for fitness at the time, I'd say ballpark of 4:11y / 14:25 / 29:45 on the track.
Don't worry too much about your wheels, just try to get better at all 5k-half distances.
