First up, she needs to get a nose job.
Alexi is in a deep relationship with herself and her (less important) co-producer Jeremy. Alexi is co-producer with Jeremy but Alexi is the star actress, poet, writer, Olympian, world class runner... and the subject of every film will be…Alexi.

What a ridiculously stupid, poorly constructed, miserably acted POS. And I don't care about Rowbury at all but find myself wanting to see Rowbury punch this little $hit in the face.
It was interesting to learn from these that Pappas sleeps in an altitude tent.

Roger that. Excellent. Better than the last film, too.
Too many people give her a hard time. You don't want to admit that she *is* interesting, almost from another era.
She should host SNL, but only us running geeks know about her.
Why, so she can make jokes about obscure runners?
Should be a hit episode!

I'm shocked.
How much is the NYT paying her for these videos?

The acting is horrible by hollywood standards as well. This is bad acting by high school acting club standards. It is on par with a typical high school project, where every kid is forced to act, whether they want to or not.
I could respect it if they said they were just doing it for fun as a hobby, but they are trying to do this as a career? That talent just doesn't seem to be there.
It's way below high school level. I was recently forced to watch a co-workers child's video they made for a grade 6 project. The "short film" those kids made was better acted and much more entertaining. It was also, so I'm told, filmed with iPhones and looked better, maybe a location thing. No idea what editing program the kids used. Still, what I learned: kids in grade 6 with iPhones can do better.
That was actually pretty awesome tbh
I like how there was a diverse trio of shirtless male runners. Hot.

I wanted to like it, but it fails on every single level. I was actually embarrassed watching it

Go and see what professional cyclist Peter Sagan is doing -- now THAT is best-in-class. He is not just World Champion but he does great in his Grease hommage:

Although I think Sagan's Sunroot videos are a little goofy, he can pull it off because he has an actual personality that comes through in the spoofs. (Not to mention he gets a little leeway for being a World Champion.) Pappas might be a perfectly nice person - and I obviously don't know her at all - but I've never gotten the impression that she has much of a personality. She strikes me as one of those people who tries to convey an eccentric persona, but it is completely contrived. And it becomes apparent in her "film" work.

I thought it was supposed to be Jordan Hasay.

She is the most interesting person in the world.

All he did was to copy the original, which anyone can do.
I could certainly do a much better performance myself.

I clicked on this one by accident. I was trying to click on the autistic thread, and got the one with its hands up by mistake.

Acting is quite difficult, as is making films in general. The way to get better is to keep practicing.

I suppose we have to take your word on that one. But, can they do it again?
