A controlled explosion is one way locked doors are unlocked.

Another way would be to unlock them.

Banning guns would just put young women, children, and elderly people at risk of rape and home invasions that they'll have no protection against. Only takes a baseball bat or no weapon at all for a thug to break into your home on your grandparents' home and rape or kill them with the children and women and older men with their bare hands. So what does that tell you? The people in America are the issue, a culture which glorifies violence and material wealth, not the gun.

Tell me how you would feel if your wife was alone and some thug accosted her at her house or in her car. And because she, as a private citizen, can no longer carry a gun, is at the mercy of the thug(s) or rapist(s).
