i am changing from foot technique while running a lot of barefoot now.(background 30 km/week(and swimming) lots of knee problems bought insoles(checked professionally with footscan...) but they dont do a lot to it)
Now i was thinking is fore foot landing more then just landing on the front of the foot or should you sart from the under back the small toe and go to the big toe and hen push off?I dont do this currently i land on the middle of the front of the foot.
Is it also normal that running the same pace is a lot harder in the first weeks of front foot landing.I mean i ran hr 148 for 8' pace now its like hr 165 and nothing has changed i do this 3 runs currently.If i change to the heel my hr drops immediatly back to 148.
So is there anyone who has changed his way of running and does hr drops after a few weeks?
