Russian media are not the most reliable source but with Lamine Diack under arrest the whole integrity of the sport is at stake and anything is plausible. It wouldn't surprise me if anyone tested positive to begin with but with cover-ups and bribes out there it takes it to a whole different level.
Without confirmation from a non-Russian source one should be dismissive or highly skeptical of this claim, but with the head of the IAAF and anti-doping both under arrest, it now isn't implausible.
Before Seb Coe had been very dismissive of the person who leaked the IAAF blood values to the Sunday Times. He needs to try and speak to that person. The whole system was corrupt.
A few things need to happen immediately:
1) All blood values and 'A' sample test results need to be released publicly.
If this was being done it is less likely there can be a coverup.
2) Hopefully, French prosecutors can get access to all the financial accounts of everyone with a position of power at the IAAF.
3) Seb Coe needs to stop getting paid by Nike. Before this happened I wanted to publish an article "Seb Coe, not Sep Blatter, is paid by Nike" as I had seen articles comparing the two recently. The point being not that Seb is crooked (a lot of people are optimistic with him in charge), but it reeks of amateur hour. No other major sport has a head of it getting paid from a major sponsor. If integrity of the sport is the #1 priority you just don't do it. Hopefully, this will cause him to see the light.
The IAAF should pay Seb half a millio/ a million to be in charge. Clearly he need the Nike money otherwise he would give it up. By giving it up, he'll show the integrity of the sport and any hint of impartiality is gone.
