Hopefully that sub-elite jogger doesn't clog up the course when the pace picks up.

Shouldn't Meb be trying to push the pace a little?
He went to the front a couple times but running 15+ miles alone is harder than you may think. Pushing from that far out is EXTREMELY risky
Not so fast there. She's still hanging on.

I hate this guy. It was funny for 2 games last year, then it got silly. How does this guy have the $ to buy his way up front? And yes I google the FL newspaper profile saying he gets donations and I dint believe that is his only tactic. Now he's getting rewarded for his shtick?
I'll take Pappas in the lead truck over that nut any day.

Wouldnt it be a solid strategy for Meb to get a lot of air time early in the race, then gracefully drop out along first avenue and save it for Oly Trials?
It is going to rip at 19 miles, chasing that would be suicidal.
Yeah... She keeps surging and dropping to the back of the pack, hard to tell how much she has left

Why are we talking about Galen Rupp?
Re Laura Thweatt: GO BUFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From mile 10 to 11, it took her 14:41 as she got her ankle taped.

Or she's running dead even while the pack inefficiently fluctuates in speed.
I can't count. Lead female pack is 8.
Pact at 10 miles for men was only 2:13:40 if they averaged that the rest of the way, but its finally picking up mile 12.
Would be awesome if Rotich pulls out another bag of tricks like she did in Boston.
I'm just waiting for Keitany to break free though. But Tufa has shown to be the real deal too.
Men's race is on. While you guys are watching wheelchair interview, The lead pack is down to 8. The last mile was 4:47.
Nick Arciniaga has been dropped.

Note that that includes a 14:41 11th mile when she was getting her ankle taped. Has been doing 6:51-6:54 miles for the 3 miles after that.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
