Editing for Biwott for finally getting that deserved major win. Kamworor, though is for the future.
I would say he is now, without question Kamworor is runner of the year.
2nd world champs 10k track, 1st world champs half marathon, 1st world cross country champs, 2nd NYC marathon......
The announcer keeps saying "US Open" instead of New York City Marathon. Come on!!
Don't forget his great battle with Farah at the Pre 10000. Very Tergat-like indeed.

Uh oh James Blake is out there. Cops better be on the lookout and ready to tackle him.

I've noticed that. Hannah Storm is really struggling with it.

No assertion here that USA men's marathoners are anything great on the global level, but given that the USOT marathon is only 3 1/2 months from today, I was more surprised that Keflezighi, Leon, and Arciniaga were even in this race.
A strong performance for Keflezighi, at 40 yo. Leon ran well, too -- his 3rd fastest -- he has only run faster at Chicago and Houston. Arciniaga, well, not good for him.
Keflezighi now has, at NYC, the following results:
1st (2009)
2nd (2004)
3rd (2005)
4th (2014)
6th (2010, 2011)
7th (2015)
9th (2002)
21st (2006)
23rd (2013)

everyone else is gearing up for the trials already...

...considering the fact that there was only Meb, Arciniaga and Leon as the only real shots to sniff the top 10, I'd say the future of American marathoning will be on display sometime in February, maybe in Los Angeles.
There's your "excuse" my "friend"...

You comment, yet with no results info. You're like the announcers.

For some reason I feel like Hannah can call it whatever she wants and I would be ok with her.

True,
Kamworor will come through in 2017. He is the next big thing from Iten. At 22, he has achieved a lot!
It's good that Biwott finally nailed it. He always loses it in the last four or so miles adn today, he wasn't going to let it slip . He kept looking back for Kamworor.

I saw that. It was funny to see her over there cheering.

And, you -- 350+ posts into this thread, with the results available in this thread and plenty of other places, starting with the NYRR web site -- are registering a complaint that suggests you are a fool or a troll. Doesn't take much to keep up here. I believe you can do it.
Ms. Storm is lovely to look at.
Her real name is Hannah Storen. She can't spell her last name properly. She looked more her age of mid 50s when they did an upper body shot of her with the woman's WC winner.

Did Kamworor run the 5k/10k first like some are suggesting Hadley do?
