Hey y'all, what's your example of a perfect week of running for someone who runs 45-55 MPW and has 1 race a week?
For example, this is mine
M- 8 miles easy, strides
T- 1 mile warm up,6 miles of rolling hills, 1 mile cool down. Core
W- 8 miles easy, strides
T- 1 mile warm up, 4 mile tempo or consisting of track intervals, 1 mile cool down, core
F- 2 miles easy, strides
S- 1 mile warm up,5k race, 1 mile cool down
S- 10-12 mile LR @easy or moderate (based on feel)
This is my example of a good season program for someone who races once a week, what's yours?
P.s. Interval workout would be mile repeats, 1 k's, or 800's
