Vernon runs qualifying time but worth to GB team doesn't outweigh the negativity he brings every time he embarrasses himself on twitter. His way of dealing with this? Embarrassing himself on twitter.

Do you give Little Centrowitz a free pass for his embarrassing twitter meltdowns?
I don't know anything about Vernon as a runner and have never heard of him before this Farah nonsense.
The guy is a straight up cry baby. Mo is the distance king of track. Maybe Vernon needs to keep his fingers off Twitter and anonymously bash Farah here like everyone else.
Vernon if you read this you come off as a HUGE CRY BABY WANKER!!! Start training and maybe you might make the 2016 Olympics and can get a pic with Mo side by side in the 10k final as he laps you.
Print this post out and put it on your wall. Look at it the next time you want to blame Mo because you aren't good enough. Even if you doped you still couldn't beat him. Humble yourself.
Vernon needs to step away from social media. Looking at his photograph on there makes me feel physically sick.
I'd argue that Vernon is one of the best clean distsnce runners in the world, he should be in Beijing and his bitterness is understandable.
1) what if there's actually a back story behind this and Mo really did talk to UK Athletics about not selecting him because of the arguments?
2) and I really don't understand the UK selection criteria, they have to run the standard twice? It's a 10k? There's not that many fast 10k's around and you don't run them very often, im not sure why UK doesn't send a full team, they have the money
All arguments and opinions aside Vernon deserved to be in the 10k, this is ridiculous
You might not think this was classy on Vernon's part, but don't forget at Laussane this year after the race Farah told Vernon to "fvck off", this isn't a one sided thing
Typical xenophobic a$$hole Brit! Racist, ugly, bitter about immigrants, but an underachiever....

Vernon's problem is that he thinks it's a conspiracy. That Mo demanded he not be selected. False! He wasn't picked because the selectors didn't want to take a guy who was going to cause trouble. He has a habit of winding up team-mates. First Sharp and now Farah. Why on earth would they bring along someone who is bang average and would cause a massive problem for their star athlete who is trying to win two gold medals.
With that tweet, he's justified the selectors decision to not pick him.
Also, it is pretty much one sided.
1) Vernon joked about being a true European
2) 8 months later, goaded Farah on twitter about having weak races
3) cracked jokes at his expense during the salazar drama
4) Tried to shake Mo's hand, not after the race, not in private but when Mo was talking to the media in order to get maximum exposure if Mo refused.

compared to Richard Kielty he comes across as a quite nice guy who has a point.

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the english way...
Is this Vernon mug completely incapable of saying something nice or just shutting the fu after someone else's success. Remember his spat with Lynsey Sharp last year on Twitter:
Sharp: "Just remembered I promised myself a Chanel handbag if I won a medal."
Vernon "You won a medal? You should mention it now and again."
Sharp: "It's not my fault cross-country doesn't get quite as much publicity."
Vernon: "Self-publicity isn't quite the same. And I don't use a drip to get my medals."
Sharp: "Andy Vermin, I had 5ml of fluid through a drip, about the same volume as one tear I just cried looking at your performances."
Vernon: "It's not about who's better. It's about how you use Twitter. Be proud of your medal. You just don't need to tell us every day."
Vernon (later): "I will formally apologise to Lynsey Sharp when I see her, but for now please accept my apologies. What started as a joke got out of hand."
What a jealous-a$$ed douche!
I was recently in correspondence with the S&C coach of a current olympic champion, and I asked him if there were common weaknesses he saw in elite runners. I expected him to say something like "hamstrings". He actually said:
"Many of them spend too much time on social media"

Farah is no better. He is a hot head and arrogant as can be. Farah also embarrassed himself on twitter.
Farah further embarrasses himself by being an expatriate; if it is even possible to be an expatriate of a country one is not an actual native of.

Embarrasses himself by being expatriate? What a strange view. Was Farah the first professional sportsperson to move to another country for his career?
Vernon is STILL going on twitter.
Have you seen Vernon he is a tank for a 10K runner. I think his listed weight is 160 pounds on a 5'11" frame. He is built like an 800 meter runner. If anything his weight may be holding him back....

Do you not just wonder, could it possibly be he knows more about these runners than he can say, just maybe they're grey to dodgy and he cant help let out some annoyance every now and then

If that's what is eating him, he could always tell the anti-doping agency, newspapers, TV documentary makers what he knows. That ought to give him enough of a release to avoid the embarrassing twitter meltdowns that don't seem to be helping his career.
Doesn't sound racist to me just sounds bitter and delusional....
