Any section 11 guys on here? County seems to be pretty open this year, and as the long summer months come to a close, a nice open conversation on potential victors, team or individual would be fitting and useful to blow the time from now until the season begins.
Class A- Lauer
Class B- Engel
Class C- Julich
I graduated from a section 11 school this year but I think for the boys county title it will be Sachem East. For county champ its a toss up between Ryan Scanlon and John Lauer for me. Honestly this year is wide open though and Northport and Sachem North should be threats on an individual and team basis as the usual.
Could Sachem ever combine XC teams if they wanted to? They'd be incredible. Smithtown West and East used to be one.
Not exactly Section XI, but St Anthony's is going to be impressive. Hopefully can improve on their 8th place finish at NXN.

Be sure to not count out kids like Skylar Lattuca and many other underdogs. Also watch out for Erik Engstrom of EH. Had a stellar cross season last year
Yeah theres so many underdogs its insane I could see Jeff Reyes, Tim Monahan and especially Kyle Kelly doing something next year.
Scanlon hasn't graduated? Thought he was a 2015 guy.
Honestly comes down to how hard any of the individuals mentioned have been training and if they can stay healthy.. I wouldn't exactly call it a weak year I think ther'll be a few guys that separate themselves come the first few races and start popping off some quicker times.
