Excellent. Social media is sickening and a waste of life.

This is not new, recruiters have been looking at high school athlete's social media accounts for years now. I know a coach who was recruiting a somewhat thin female distance runner, he held an on campus recruiting meeting at a McDonalds and was most impressed that this athlete ordered a Big Mac combo and ate the whole meal. I was once personally impressed by a H.S. female who at a dual meet, went back and fixed the two hurdles she hit and then went over and cheered on her teammates in the shot put. This particular athlete was one of the national's top hurdlers 100 and 400, but she wanted to keep her high school's 2 years dual meet win meet streak alive. At this meet, in a span of about 2 hours, she ran the 100h, 300h, long jumped and the 4x4. I also saw her helping coach one of her teammates in the long jump in between her jumps. This athlete ended up being a 2 time NCAA all-American in 2 events, made the USATF finals twice and is now coaching herself. Btw, the H.S. meet I was at was actually to observe another athlete, he false started twice in the 100, argued with the official and appeared to basically pout the rest of the meet. He ended up at junior college from what I heard, was kicked off the team his freshman year and I don't recall ever seeing his name in any results after that. This was a kid who had run 10.48 in the 100m and 21 flat in the 200m.
When recruiters are in the stands, they don't just watch your performances, they watch how you interact with your coaches and teammates and they like to see that you are enjoying the experience.
