When the earth warms it's man's fault.
When the earth cools it's nature's fault.
Got it.
1) Cited research is very speculative and predictions of this sort haven't done well historically.
2) In the off chance this model is correct, the effective forcing from the sun would be reduced about 0.5 W/m^2 as compared to and estimated AGW forcing on the order of 2 W/m^2.
3) The "mini-ice age" of the late 1600s is attributed to both a drop in solar activity and an increase in volcanic activity with the volcanic activity likely the stronger effect.
In short, the hypothesis is probably not correct, it likely isn't going to make much difference to a generally warming climate if it is correct, and this will be widely over hyped in the blogosphere.
The hypotheses Global Warming has already been disproven. 20 years of no warming will kinda do that. LOL. You Gobal Warming clowns need a new act.

Hey CR - You strike me as the most knowledgeable poster on LRC wrt climate change. Just out of curiosity, would you mind sharing a bit about your background (profession, education, why you are so well informed on this topic).
