given that and his pumped arms at the finish, two words come to mind.
'roid rage'
Twitter has been the genesis of so many meaningless arguments. it's a lot of fun.
I would like to see a fight between Andy Vernon and Mo Farah at the world championship final. I bet Vernon would pummel Farah.

Farah is a reanimated skeleton, a child could pummel him
I'd have done the same thing. Vernon attacked him pointlessly and deserved the snub.
exactly and he runs to the media everytime and cry about Mo , Andy V is a lil bitch
Very unsportsmanlike conduct.Farah should be discplined.

Telegraph
"No sooner had Mo Farah made the most emphatic of triumphant returns with a stunning 5,000 metres victory ..."
Stopped reading right there.
"Farah should be disciplined" Jeez man, I would like to see how many people on this thread would be cool with someone basically calling them a cowardly b*tch for all to see online. I would have more sympathy for Vernon if he hadn't then gone to the UK media to say that Farah was worse to him when Vernon started the ordeal in the first place. It was as if Vernon wanted to do it to make HIMSELF look good. Farah has reason to hold a grudge here, anyone would.
What is this E True Holywood Story? Who gives a shit.
People still twitter?
I'm just staggered. This site referring us to a story that makes Mo Farah - of NOP - look bad.
What a surprise!
On what I saw - Vernon started the whole thing anyway.

Agree that it was very unsportsmanlike conduct.
That being said though, it was a perfectly valid response considering how frequently Vernon goes ahead and insults Farah. From what I recall, both of their major "spats" has had its origins in some comment from Vernon.
1) Vernon accused Farah of not being British after the European Championships
2) Vernon mocked Farah for racing a "shallow field" in Birmingham
Following the second incident, Farah called Vernon an "embarrassment" or something like that, and afterwards, Vernon occasionally made minor jibes.
Considering Farah did not instigate any of the previous incidents, he is perfectly within reason to dislike Vernon.
Good for Mo. Vernon accusing him of not being "British enough" was racist, and who is he to say Mo is ducking people. What a tool.
Didn't Vernon also have some kind of spat going with one of the UK's female runners not too long ago? Some kind of Twitter war
Vernon is the Rojo of British athletics - a jealous never-was with a big mouth. I can't stand Mo Farah and will never believe he's not a doper but Vernon is just pathetic.
