I'm not so sure Grayson Reid has one of the fastest times in the region 25:21 it's not totally unreasonable to think he might dip that time lower and CNU is stacked with fast runners.. I think Matt has his team ready to make a big push and defeat Emory
The regional course is fairly tough. Quite a few big hills, so we'll see how fast the race is. It'll be a good battle for first individual.
who is doing these regional polls????? W&L ahead of rhodes after losing to them @ oberlin 2 weeks ago... same for trinity/bridgewater @ prenats???
One coach does the polls. Rhodes did not run that strong in a weak SAA, but tough course. CNU ran on a course at the beach. CNU looks fast right now and maybe they are the best team in the region. On paper, they ran faster than Emory at UAA's. But I assume Franklin Park is not as fast as what CNU ran on.
Emory and CNU 1-2 and then a handful of teams could finish 3rd or make a run at 2nd place.
Well looks like the top two pulled through, and some usually strong teams really struggled (bridgewater, centre)... Very close this year btw the top three teams. Now god help us please don't let them be 31 & 32
You guys are going to get f ing rocked... Teams that can barely get 5 guys sub 27, are you f ing kidding me? Hand out the last two team spots now and save us all some time
Rest of D3 calling: The course was one of the most difficult I have ever seen ..The Hills were ridiculous..So the times were obviously slow..Wish they would consider a faster course than this one for a regional race..but it is what it is...Kids that were 25:30 quality kids were running high 26s and low 27s..The first 1/2 mile or so is straight uphill.. Ive seen tough courses before (Panoram Farms etc..) but this takes the cake...
