Great race, similar kick to what was seen last year. This time however, Andrew Hunter took the pace up at 600 to go with Grant on his shoulder. As Hunter moved with Fisher the last lap, Mikey Brannigan pulled onto Hunter's shoulder and cut him off nearly tripping him. Honestly if Hunter didn't stumble he probably would have gotten Fisher at the line since he gained ALOT on him in the last 100.
Probably would have gotten Dq'd if he wasn't special needs. Tired of him getting breaks for no reason.
Wow what a ignorant comment.
What breaks has he received?
I guess you mean running 4:05 at PreFontaine 2 weeks prior - where he was flown out on Thursday afternoon/evening and then raced at 11:00pm east coast time on Friday night - yup that was a good break.
Or maybe its the media coverage that he has received - you know the coverage that has put a bulls eye on his back all season with constant requests for more interviews. FYI the coverage that has been shown is about half of what has been requested. All these requests that defer him from his normal routine that is so important to him and how he handles things.
In regards to the question does he even run with for his HS. the week before he anchored the 4x800 team so that 1 freshman, 2 sophomores and 1 junior were able to go to the state meet for their 1st state experience, knowing that without Mikey they were not going to place well. But he did it so they can learn how to handle it going forward
