Random reasons
a) The third leading cause of death are MDs
b) MDs say that they chose their profession to 'help people.' The medical profession acts as a cartel that restricts the number of people practicing medicine via restricting number of seats in med school and residence programs. This makes MDs the highest compensated class of people, and that includes finance (for reference, see NYTimes decomposition of top 1% of earners by profession -- MDs form the bulk of top 1%).
Meaning, if you graduate last in your class in the worst med school in the US, you are still VIRTUALLY GUARANTEED $200p.y. job.
c) MDs think that they are smart, but they are really not. Organic chemistry is just a memorization grind and a subject such as real analysis blows it out of the water.
d) One MDs pass residency they work like 3 days per week. How many times have you tried to get the doctor only to be told that "DR Edwards does not work on Thursdays and Fridays"
e) They actually think that they are MDs because they are smarter/more capable then everyone else. They are certain that if they were not an MD, they would have been a CEO of SP500 company
