btt, how do you like yesterday's 19 miler: first hilly, then a couple sub-7 miles for good measure.
Nobody's impressed.
Yesterday, for my workout, I did one of Lindgren's 10 miler workouts, where I raced the first and last mile and tempoed the middle 8.
I ran 3:50 for the first mile, averaged 4:15 for the middle 8 and closed it out with a 3:43.
... Oh yeah, I also ran it on a hilly cross country course...
Based on my recent workouts, I'll be looking to run sub-2hrs in my next marathon, which is equally plausible to Rossi running sub-3 hrs.
