Really? Bad news day for runners. First we had the dude who kicked the Pug to death, and now this.
I am not sure which is more evil and cowardly: kicking a pug to death because you were scared of it while jogging, or flying a jet into a mountain and killing 150 people because you were having a bad day (or life, or something like that).
Who?

Some dead guy.
I am.

So there is a good chance that with more training I will be able to call myself a "competitive runner" in a couple years.
HM @ 1:37 here I come.
Hundreds of runners have died over the years from heart-attacks, car accidents, falling off balconies, ethnic violence and now, crashing planes.
Meanwhile "big athletics" and "big road racing" continue to deny that running is bad for you and even promote it's so-called "health benefits".
Clearly it's time for government action.

killing 150 people is worse
On a curious note, Diego Lagomarsino also was a runner. Now he's accused for Nisman's death (Nisman was the federal prosecutor of the 1994 car bombing of the Jewish center in Buenos Aires, and he accused President Cristina Kirchner, Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman and other politicians of covering up Iranian suspects in the case)
At least he finished half marathons

hmmm...I think we have a serious trend here. I am ready to now conclude that most runners are sick ba$tards ( especially when you throw me and 99% of the other people on this site into the analysis)

He wears ear buds when he races! He looks like a hobby jogger from san francisco.

Agreed. Two suggestions.
1. Ban running in bars and restaurants
2. "plain packaging" for athletics events. For instance the New York Marathon shall be renamed "that race on the streets"
