The lipstick reminds me of that scene from the movie Insidious with the creepy lady with the lipstick who kept smiling.

Looks like a drag queen.
this message board has sunk to a new low, so in that spirit:
No one says anything when Bruce Jenner uses it.
And as for Ms. Rowbury's fashion sense:
says"fuchsia lipstick" is "universally flattering."
Now about that hair!
With that lipstick, hair, and the breathe right going, she looks like the Joker from Batman!

Please tell that to the Fushas out my window.
What is uglier than her lipstick, and boy is it ugly, is her arrogance. I can't even listen to her anymore she's so full of herself.
That lipstick was really ugly
Forget fuchsia. The color that I most notice about her is the pale white, as in the color of her skin. Doesn't Oregon get any semblance of sun? Everyone else (Hasay, Uceny) have nice color to their skin, but Rowbury looks like a vampire.

Lipstick can last the race. Most likely. She probably puts it on pre-race (look good=run good) and its still there when she's being interviewed. However it's really not a good color for her.

At least lipstick doesn't affect performance. I see elite women wearing essentially a bikini in fall marathons & even NCAA X-C in Terre Haute, IN.
You can't tell me a bare, exposed belly isn't going to have a detrimental effect on race performance in brisk fall weather. Heck, I will see elite women wearing ear muffs & arm warmers.....and still with the bare midriff.
Where is the coach?
Are female elites slaves to fashion?

Best reply yet.
Oh come on. She'll be retiring in a few years time, let her enjoy these moments. Somehow I can't help admire the lady. I'm sure she'll be a contender come Rio.
I'm gonna just go ahead and say she's hot.
I can't believe that this is really a thread.
Or maybe Letsrun isn't all guys after all. Because I can't imagine guys taking such an active interest in a woman's lipstick.
Um, okay then... wrote:

I have long suspected that a large contingent of LRC posters are ladies in bunhuggers masquerading as men. It would explain what appear to be a lot of bitchy dudes. Butt back to what I was saying...If Ms Rowbury or someone who knows her is reading this, she shouldn't have to make any dumb excuses. She needs to tell people to just STFU.
I think the lipstick looks good and agree she needs to do something with that hair.
The lipstick needs its own Twitter account.
