So at my last meet of my indoor season, my coach placed me in the 200m dash. I'm more of a 400m runner, but I went along with it. I went from a 31 second 200m last year(horrible I know) to a 26.2 second 200 this year, with no preparation. I had done no short distance sprint training, or any training during the off season. If I train throughout the off season, would I have a chance of knocking off another couple seconds on my 200? I am no where near my potential as an athlete, I am pretty skinny for my height.
