You just posted that after 200 meters things get rough, I'd say that right now you're not going to run your best times, IF your coach is looking to peak you for outdoor then right now isn't when you wanna run your best... I've dealt with coaches that think in order to be a great coach athletes should run their best ALL the time which is ignorant as can be... I've set up training plans for distance athletes that have gone from 18:10 to 16:36 in a cross country season... I think you need to bee patient as an athlete, half of being successful is believing in your coach and the workouts, if you don't or you won't then transfer or quit... simple as that
