I plan to put up weekly workouts and ask for you to rate them: We have a new track coach at my college and our AD says hes the smartest track coach he has ever met. Us athletes think he has NO Clue what hes doing:
I am sprinter/ jumper and I am average with pr's in LJ of 6.90 m and triple of 13.67.
This weeks workouts of note: The whole team sprinters through 10k did 2 x 1 Mile at what coach called Lactate Threshold with 90 second rest. Our top female distance runner who is a very good miler ran 7:15 pace . Most of sprinters were around 8:30 for our second mile because we couldn't recover in time.
He told the sprinters that we need to work on our aerobic base to imrpove thats whats keeping us from improving.
