Really?
So when someone is negotiating the next salary they give more to the guy who lost the playoff game punting than the guy who who won the game going for 4th down on their side of the field?
Peyton Manning and Drew Brees each have won one Super Bowl.
If the Saints coach (Sean Payton) didn't execute that onside kick to start the second half of the 2009 season Super Bowl, then Peyton Manning would have two Super Bowl wins and Drew Brees none.
I think that unconventional play helped Sean Payton's reputation as well as Brees' and Peyton Manning has the reputation of a QB with a losing record in Super Bowls now instead of a winning record.
And Belichcik seems to have a good reputation with unconventional calls.
You are judged on winning or losing in football.
