I like this quote from Isaiah Kiplagat in the article:
Athletics Kenya has suspended or banned 32 athletes for doping violations in the last five years, according to Isaiah Kiplagat, the federation’s president.
“If you compare that to athletes banned by other federations like Russia and China, we are nowhere,” Kiplagat told the AP on Friday
He seems to be neglecting the fact that Russia and China have bans in OTHER SPORTS that increase their numbers.
But besides that, and other factors that could contribute to an under-representation of Kenya in the number of doping positives, it just doesn't come across very well saying that while you have a cheating problem, at least it's not as bad as some other countries.
