Rachele Schulist was a 4:46/10:57 high school runner; decent but no threat to the top tier of high school runners, and way slower than her Michigan counterpart Erin Finn.
However, she has been running at the front of the sport all fall, including runner up at Wisconsin and essentially a runaway tie at the Great Lakes Regional and only 3rd at the Big Ten race, where she presumably just ran with the team for the most part.
Yet, there has been very little discussion of her large step up in class.
