Shalane, Desi, Kara, always in or near the top 5. Are they tougher than American men or wtf is going on?

Womens running, especially in the marathon is less competitive. Womens record of 2:15 has stood for a decade. The Mens world record is dropped every other major marathon.
Same reason the US Girls' soccer team does well...other countries don't care very much. Plus Title IX.
Same reason American women do better than the men in the Olympics, the rest of the world only cares about MENS sports. Other countries could care less about womens sports. America does though
In most countries in the world, women be in da kitchen cookin up dinner and havin babies.
Because Women currently regularly win races with times that would win 20-30 years ago.
Men don't.
Have you ever tried running with burka on? It's not easy.

near top 5.
Who was the last American woman to win NY?
Who was the last American woman to Boston?
Who was the last American woman to win Chicago?
I'm pretty sure the US men have won all of these more recently. Men's marathon is way more competitive than
women's and considering this, the US men still bring
home the big prize more often.
So no, the women are not more competitive when you actually
look at winning something like a major. Even so, Ryan hall has six top 5s at world majors, what American woman has that record?
It's not as socially acceptable for African women, particularly from Muslim countries, to take part in sports. If it were, then they would probably dominate as much as the men do. American women do not have as much competition as the men do.
They aren't
