Leading up to this season it was Reilly Bloomer, Reilly Bloomer, Reilly Bloomer. He seems to be a consistent runner and South Eugene typically runs well at state, but I have gradually lost confidence in him this season. Meanwhile, Ahmed Muhummed just dropped an insane 15:03 at Sandelie, moving him from No. 3 past Bloomer and Roman Ollar to No. 1 in my 6A books. Bloomer will drop to No. 2 and Ollar to No. 3, who ran a less than stellar 15:16 at Sandelie. He hasn't run anything too spectacular since his impressive early season 15:18. In that race we also saw twin brother Grayson debut and drop a nice 15:40. He appears to be a contender for first team all state. No. 4 right now is Zack Lavier, who we know will automatically do very well at State because he is from Central Catholic. Jackson Mestler of Sheldon is my No. 5. He performed well at Pre-Nats, running a solid 15:40. Ronald Graham has one of the fastest PRs in the state (15:29 at Sandelie) but will be No. 6. Grayson Ollar (with the hope that he improves before state) is at No. 7.
