My app to track your run with (precise) altitude variations: know how many feet/meters you climbed

I couldn’t get my hands on a free and simple enough android app that properly accounts for altitude variations (gps is a bit lacking for that). I therefore wrote my own app and I would really like to get some feedback from other runners. It shows your track on a map like many other apps out there but it is simple to use and it calculates your elevation variations with very good precision so you can have a real idea of of many meters/feet you climbed up and down. Exporting kml or gpx is simple to do. I also just added a simple way to put a time or distance limit.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

James, Is this app accessing surveyed altitude (DTED or some such) in real time or is this after-the-run correction? It's my understanding that a number of apps do the latter, but I'm not aware of any that do it in real time.

Record your tracks with simplicity and precision. Unlike with many other apps, elevation (altitude) is obtained from geographic surveys and is very precise. GPS altitude is still shown but not recorded. This ability to properly account for elevation changes (up and down) can be useful for hikers, runners/joggers, skiers, bikers.

Elevation from geographic surveys CAN BE very precise, but there are many different resolutions available. Although they report it as being compiled from many sources, it's a safe guess that much of it comes from SRTM data which has resolutions of 90m (Worldwide) and 30m (US). It has
