Hey guys I am currently injured with a knee issue in my right leg. I have prs of 10:20 3200m and 16:47 5,ooom from two years ago.
My typical week at my peak was 55 miles done as such
Monday 7 miles easy
Tuesday tempo run at 10k pace for 4-6 miles so 10 for the day
Wednesday 7 easy plus strides usually 6 x 100m
Thursday short intervals such as 8x200 or 10 x 400m @goal 5k pace 6-8 for the day
Friday 7-9 miles easy
Saturday fartlek 6-8 miles
Sunday long run 10-12 miles easy
My question is there anything else I should be doing to meet my goal? I am looking after getting back from this injury to run a 5,000m race on a track near my area.
