I was at my desk screaming like Tom Hanks
Smoother than Centro? She looked super relaxed.

I'm off today and watching at home so I was figuring no one would hear me cheering, only to turn around and see the neighbors staring up at my window, haha.
Boom!!

Haha YES!!
The fabulous day for the Americans continues. Ajee Wilson joins the sub 1:58 club and now could make claim for being #1 in the world by the end of the season.
#6 American ever. #5 when you take out drug cheat Mary Slaney.
1:56.40 is the AR

1:57.6x to take down Sum! Incredible!
She has some sexy long legs
Ajee is still so young and so good and she always runs for the win. I feel like she has the ability to run some incredible times and I just hope that another women emerges to help push her to incredible times. Maybe Caster Se-man-ya will make a comeback?!?! I wanna see Wilson hit sub 1:55 in the next few years
Wilson is a great racer, can handle quick starts, holds back a bit for the kick, can lead the whole way, has a fine kick, very relaxed, usually runs her best in championships, and is very young still. 1:57.7--now must be about a second off the American record that looks to be hers in the future unless Cain starts racing in Europe consistently. (World Juniors at her level??)

That would be Agatha Jeruto. Still very young and currently being wasted as (very bad) wabbit.
You guys need to stop calling every time barrier the "sub x:xx club". It only works for really iconic ones like a sub-4:00 mile.
Wrong Wilson

This is the first time she has beat one of the big dogs, although, one of the big dogs is knocked up and other ones,
Francine Niy?????, the Moroccan and 2 Russian girls have basically dissaspeared.
Ajee looked wonderful! Monaco is the best place for the USA 800m women!
2014 Wilson 1:57.67
2010 Johnson-Montano 1:57.34
2009 Vessey 1:57.84
All WL with that race!
Molly Beckwith has been running well (sub 2 a couple of times) and ran well today, and Roesler did really well in a major DL race (beating Judd). The US has an incredible wealth of 800m talent right now even without Alysia Montano (maternity leave) and Mary Cain (avoiding competition in the Juniors).
It's been interesting to watch the relative development of Judd and Wilson. Wilson barely beat Judd in World Juniors two years ago. Then Jessica raced really hard last summer and was injured while Ajee has been brought along steadily and now is the world leader. Plus her running style is smooth and relaxed, her races are pretty evenly paced and she's always there at the end. A lot of credit must go to patient and insightful coaching by Derek Thompson.

You mean another woman like Sum? This has potential to be a great rivalry. Don't underestimate Sum based on one unexpected loss. She'll be back and she is still #1
