The Monaco DL was special last year - Asbel Kiprop 3:27.72 and Farah's NR of 3:28.81 in the 1500m, Soi's 12:51.34 in the 5000, Montsho's 49.33 DLR in the 400 and a win the DL by Jenny Simpson over Obiri in the 1500. The pros LOVE running here, many of them target this meet.
This year's edition might be even better -
Men's 800m - Aman, Amos, Rudisha, Solomon, Kaki
-> I see Rudisha winning in 1:42 high, but fast times all around (full start list:
http://www.diamondleague-monaco.com/en/Program/Overview/800m-Men/
)
Women's 800m - Martinez, Wilson, Sum, Roesler, Judd, Jepkosgei
-> Sum continues to win, but I hope that they challenge Bermuda's Diago 1:57.74 WL (she's 18 yrs old but not in the field, big talent)Maybe a return to form by Martinez. (full start list:
http://www.diamondleague-monaco.com/en/Program/Overview/800m-Women/
)
Men's 1500m- Kiprop, Kiplagat, Ndiku, Souleiman,Willis, Wote, Centrowitz...
-> As it was last year this is probably the most stacked event and there has been talk of Kiprop going for Guerrouj's 3:26.00 world record, Centro tries to set a PR before. Fast race all around. (full start list:
http://www.diamondleague-monaco.com/en/Program/Overview/1500m-Men1/
)
Women's 5000m- Ayana, Cherono, G. Dibaba, Hassan, Rowbury, Huddle, Hasay
-> Dibaba has been inconsistent so far but has the WL of 14:34 at 5000, she will contend for the win but Hassan (3:57.00 WL at 1500m) could be dangerous. (full start list:http://www.diamondleague-monaco.com/en/Program/Overview/3000m-Women1/ (actually a 5000))

There's also a stacked M 400m, M110mH, M200m and W100m.
What do you guys think??? What's gonna happen?
