I'm wondering if I can do things like clams, lateral leg raises, donkey kicks, and other hip flexor/abductor exercises everyday with an off day on Sunday.
I'm wondering if I can do things like clams, lateral leg raises, donkey kicks, and other hip flexor/abductor exercises everyday with an off day on Sunday.
A physical therapist told me to do those exercises every day and more but I don't do more than one set the day after a personal training session.
I've always been told that abs are the only muscle group you can workout every day without hampering recovery.
No, after each time you move your hips you must recover in the prone position for 48 hours.
I think you can work your hips every day but I wouldn't do the same exercises on back to back days.
The question is why?
If you have just been injured, doing a little something but a little different every day might be a good idea. After a while though, you will get more strength working harder every other day.
