For about a month and a half I've suffered from IT band pain. Since then I've incorporated many exercises and stretches into my routine, rollout, ice, aqua jog, you name it. Some days it feels like it's getting better and will only be a slight discomfort for my pathetic 30 minute jog. Then other days like today it feels like the first day all over again and I find myself 2 and a half miles out walking back. It's frustrating me so much to the point where I don't know what else I can possibly do to get over this. I even see a chiropractor every week who's been giving me an adjustment in my hip which "should be alleviating the pressure on the band". Say what you want about the practice, I'm officially no believer.
So what more can I do, letsrun? I should probably mention I'm going into my last collegiate cross country season after redshirting due to injury (not it band) from last year. So needless to say I'm willing to do absolutely anything to be healthy. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
