Lately for the past few days when I run I feel pain shoot up the front of my legs each time either one of my feet hit the ground. I'm not sure if it's because I took 3 days off, or if it's because I just got new shoes last week. I've been running solely in Asics GT1000 since August of last year but last week I decided to switch it up and bought the Brooks Ravenna 5. I'm running mid to high 50s in mileage per week this summer where my peak mileage will be around 68. Almost all of my runs are either on side walk or on the roads unless I find the occasional time to drive to the trails. Any thoughts/ideas on what could be causing it?
