goals: break 15.30 for 5k and 32.00 for 10k
here's my plan:
monday:
am - intervals - 300m~600m, total of about 4,000m in intervals + 4,000 WU/CD, so ~5 miles
p.m - regenerative
5 miles
tuesday:
easy 8 miles
wednesday:
either tempo or hill workout - 3-6 miles, total of about 5-8 miles
thursday: easy 8 miles
friday:
am - intervals - 800~2000m, total of about 6,000m in intervals + 4,000 WU/CD, so ~6 miles
p.m - regenerative - 5 miles
saturday: cross train. Stretching. Etc.
sunday: long run - 1h30-1h45 - ~12-15 miles
total: ~65-70 miles
questions:
is it better to change the long run for saturday so I don't have a long run+interval in sequence?
how does this schedule looks? lacking balance? too hard/easy?
