Umm. What? Care to explain how long telomeres affect endurance? You have no idea what you're talking about.

Rupp had a 26:34 in him, which is 13:17 pace, which is 2 seconds faster per 5k than he did in an all out one just a couple weeks prior.
Explain please
lol @ "all out"
i was at oxy-- he cruised until the last 600 and just wasn't sharp enough to outkick birmingham...
I ran a 10,000 with a 14:19 split followed by a 14:17. Next race was a 5,000 2 weeks later. I ran 14:29. Running is more mental than most of you care to believe. Now come the trolls.

Ummm, everything in life is mental. The real question for you is, why did it take you so long to find out?
Birmingham's mentality was greater than Rupp's mentality. The real question for Rupp-fans is, is it possible for some other runner to actually be better than Rupp?
Answer wrote:Daniel Komen ran a 13:0x 5000 then a week or so later ran a 7:20 3000. Please explain.
much less time inbetween
he ran 13'02 for win in berlin on friday night & the 7'20 in rieti on sunday afternoon
it was less than 48 hours between 2 races - probably about 44 hours

Salazar said they were doing 10k training and trained through OXY HP. Salazar said Rupp could have run 10 seconds faster in his AR. There was a decent wind that night. So pretty much Rupp had a 26:34 in him, which is 13:17 pace, which is 2 seconds faster per 5k than he did in an all out one just a couple weeks prior.
Explain please
You make dumb posts. Explain please.

2) How can you explain it? Rupp's wife is pregnant with twins. Possibly bed-ridden. People were saying he may have been sleeping at the hospital.
The stress that would take on you would be unreal.

Was his wife not pregnant when he ran the 10k?

You may not have ever had a pregnant partner, but along a preganancy there can be bumps, complications and scares. Even losses.
I think Rupp eluded to something happening which was stressing him out. Anyone who has ever been expecting a child knows what that means in their life, more than anything by far. If you have an issue of any magnitude, it would be scarier and more stressful than anything you've experienced before because you've never had something of more value to you at risk, be it your expecting child(ren) or partner.

Why does letsrun bread morons? If Rupp ran a 14:10 at Oxy would that make this any less believable? Are you truly so stupid as to not understand slow paced races aren't relatable? What kind of f'tard are you?
Bread morons? Are those the type that are born when the mother has a yeast infection?

For the weeks prior to Oxy Galen spent almost every night at the hospital with his wife. It's conceivable that his sleep during that period was compromised.
She came home after Oxy; this may have resulted in more consistent rest and recovery for Galen.
Salazar after Oxy
Rupp ran to win and, all in all, it wasn't a poor performance. (Ken Goe article)
"He's not panicked about it and neither am I," Salazar said. "Collis Birmingham is very good. He ran 1:54 for his last 800." (Salazar)
http://www.oregonlive.com/trackandfield/index.ssf/2014/05/galen_rupp_is_waiting_to_decid.html
I don't see how whether or not he was trying to win Oxy has anything to do with the times between the two races. They were two different kinds of races. Conditions were different. Personal issues sound like they were different. Etc. Etc. The fact that some are trying to look for some sinister explanation for time differences that can't even be matched to any sinister explanation is silly. No athlete's races line up on some perfectly linear line for every race they've ever run.
REgardless of any excuses ,
to personal issues
technology and supplements , well paced race and so on
do not explain this time .
THE ONLY thing that explains this is DOPING,.
and something that didnt have until now.
personally think a new gw50 type ped
time will tell
and
if was xenon and rocking a high hct and
declared that due to xenon then could do nothing
with failed passport.
but now xenon is gone if what hearing .

Totally erratic performances.
If this was anyone from Africa we all know EXACTLY what the opinion of the board would be.
Exactly. They were two very different types of races.
Hey dipshit, I don't think he said it took him long to find out, I think he was trying to explain it to you with your 40 min 10k pr. Another reason LR is going down the tubes...poster like "Mentallity", who can't even spell right let alone comprehend simple thoughts. Go back to your rock loser.

Mental case...you need help, serious help. With a handle like that you should be quite familiar with meds, please take them, and soon.
The capital M is to confuse you, but don't strain your brain to hard as the meds won't be able to do their work, you nutjob.
