its a serious question. There are some times i forget to bring my electrolyte replenishment on my runs and end up only being able to drink water stretch and cool down.

sorry, i was being a touch sarcastic. my suggestion for you is to keep some electrolyte tablets in your fanny pack so after your race you can pop it straight in your water and drink while you stretch. don't forget the post-race selfie and upload to instagram with your finisher's medal!!

I'll try to hold the snark, but you do seem to be overthinking things. What is a cooldown walk? Is there some reason you're not running your cooldown? How long does it take to drink some water and Gatorade/electrolyte drink, like 30 seconds? A minute? Why not do that and then run your cooldown and stretch while you drink some more?

This approach doesn't sound organized or modularized enough. As a software developer, I cannot agreee to this approach.
