Hi!
I have been training for 5K (currently at 16:45) but I would like to run some trail races and be a bit competitive.
Trail races where I live are usually hilly and somewhere between 12 and 16 miles (and won by guys running 32:00 for 10K).
Could I maintain the 5K training but get a longer, off-road, run in once every couple of weeks and this way still improve my 5K time and my trail running ability?
