If I read correctly, there were 5 guys with PBs better than 2:05 in Boston yesterday.
I still put Shorter at the top spot just because he was ranked as the best in the world during his prime, and he also has some big time wins to go with it. Yes, the marathon is more competetive today, but if Shorter were at his prime in this day and age, with the advancements in training, therapy, nutrition, etc...I think Shorter would still be in the hunt in every race.
