1: It was an all-women race
2: How do their finish times affect your life?

By human standards...statistically... 1:40 is pretty good. It's just under 7:36 pace. You've got to be pretty fit to hold that for 13.1 miles.
I don't think you and others appriciate just how much ..say 1:14 deviates from what the random runner can do? And sub-1:20...
It's probably difficult to imagine, but you would be hard pressed to find runners who can run just two milies at 6:00 pace...in the general population...
I think you find it was more like 1505.

Doh! 1505 broke 2 hours.
Mea culpa!
I have seen races where men are discouraged from running, but never one where they were completely disallowed from competing. That's insane. Can we start barring women from races again now? Just to feel like we are special for having penises?
Bunch of fat ladies waddling around out there.
Apply a vaginal discount and it makes the thread title edit to: Over 6.000 Half Marathoners with vaginas and only 110 break the equivalent of an all-genitalia 1:25.
Works for me.
