Hey guys, yesterday I opened the season running 600m (first) and 300m (an hour and an half later) and I went 1.24.1 for 600 (I run 28 for each 200) then I tried to run a good 300m but my legs felt a bit heavy and also because of being in line 8 I couldn't do better than 37.5.
My speed is where it should be (averaged 11.7 in a 3x4x100 workout closing the last one in 11 flat all-out) but I am not still very used to the fastest paces (e.g. 200m all-out etc...). As far as my endurance, it's not great but I train more like a sprinter. Very low mileage, almost only track reps or long uphills. My strenght is decent, I guess.
Last year I ran 1.29.6 and then went 53 flat and 2.07... but I was injured and couldn't do anything good.
My next races will be about three weeks from now, so I think I will be ready.
