Im a HS girls coach from Arizona, what kind of mile/800/2 mile shape do you think my female runner (12th grade) is in?
Avg 35 mile a week
here are a few sample workouts
- 4x1600 all around 5:35-5:40, 4 min rest in between each
- 2x 400 (68) 3x 300 (50) 2x 600 (1:51) 4X200 (30-31) All on 2:30 jogging rest
- 4x500 in 1:26, 4 min jogging rest in between each
- 6k tempo avg 6:00-6:10 per mile
- 4x1200 in 3:58 with 4 min jogging rest, 3x200 in 31/32
in weight room 3x a week, next race is at arcadia
