For my College Composition class I have to write a research paper. I decided to choose running as my subject, and more specifically, the effects of high-altitude training on distance runners. However, I am having a hard time finding research that shows the positive or negative effects on aerobic endurance when training at high altitudes. I don't have a very strong physiology background, so it's hard for me to understand some of the detailed effects that high-altitude has on the body.
Does anyone have any knowledge on the subject? Or know of some places to get good information?
While I cannot change the general subject of running, I do have flexibility to change my main research question. If anyone has ideas on other running topics that I could write my paper on, that would be appreciated as well.
