Greetings from the UK
I've had a fairly decent week again. kept up the volume and the intensity was still fairly moderate. I've come to the fact that i have speed but lack endurance so a lot of work over the next 2 months will be endurance-based.
Goal Race: BUPA Great Manchester 10K (5/18)
Goal Time: N/A (current PR 32:49
3rd: 7.8mi: 1mi easy (7:57/mi) 5mi progression: 28:38 (6:15,5:53,5:42,5:33,5:12) + 1.8mi recovery (8:10/mi)

Mondays workout was a much faster progression going from steady pace to around 10K pace. Thursdays 3-2-1K workout was a workout i picked up out of canovas info. The 3 and 2Ks were done at slightly slower than current 5K PR pace and the 1K was done slightly faster than pace. felt incredibly good throughout the workout, 3:14 per k might just be my current 10K pace at the moment but i'm not concentrating on that too much just yet. For todays long run, i averaged 6:05/mi for the steady section and 6:34/mi overall. A lovely workout with some good views and climbs once again.
Mileage will be down next week as i am taking part in the regional relay race known as the '12 stage relays'. Mens team has 12 in a team and Women have 6. Looking forward to it :)
Happy training all :)
