In adult males having iron levels that are too high is about as common as having an iron level that is too low.
Get it tested. Keep asking. Too much iron is very dangerous and 1 in 250 have genetic condition that makes them store too much iron. 1 in 250! Those are pretty low odds statistically. All males should be screened for this.
