This guy is starting to make some noise in the middle distances. Won both the mile (easily) and the 3000m at the SEC Champs. He has run 3:57.00 this year and 7:59 for 3000m
Watch out for this guy at NCAAs

His teammate, Keffri Neal, won the 800m at the SECs 1:48.94
It's Hillenbrand with an "n" and he crushed it this weekend. Dominating victories.
He's the next Andy Bayer. National champ. Heard it here first
And he would be annihilated by Cheserek in 7:47 at MPSF. 7:59 would have scored 1 point, and the winning 800 was 1:48.84.
But the team the sprint-oriented folks in the SEC had better be looking out for is USC. This is a school that has never really competed in indoors before, but in the offseason they hired Caryl Smith-Gilbert from Central Florida, and she may be the best there is in the sprints (Tianna Madison, DeeDee Trotter, Octavious Freeman...). The men are ranked #8 and they only have about 5 people competing--but 3-4 of those are among the best in the world.
The USC women just joined MPSF, were unranked (until now) by USTFCCCA, and they won in a rout. 106-66 over Oregon. Only sprints and hurdles. One athlete over 400 meters.

Hillenbrand ran 7:59 to win. We only know how fast the second place finisher could have run.
Are you sure you coach at a D1 program?

Not saying he'd beat EC, but you are showing you're an idiot by comparing 3k times.
I saw Matt run big and bold in high school. His success is no surprise. I remember watching him run like a gazelle on the track thinking, one day he will be bound for greatness. Godspeed Matthew, godspeed
I remember after Stx won state they had a Full House marathon to celebrate. Bob Saget is an artist that will never truly be appreciated. Matt is a great runner and the GOAT in the state of Kentucky.
